Shark Research & Conservation

During my time with the Shark Research & Conservation team, I supported field-based studies that advanced understanding of shark behavior and population health. I assisted with the safe capture, tagging, and sampling of various shark species including collecting biometric data, blood samples, and fin clips for long-term ecological monitoring. Beyond the science, I helped translate this work into accessible narratives and media content, turning field footage and data into engaging stories that deepened public awareness of marine conservation. This dual role allowed me to bridge rigorous research with creative communication, fostering greater connection between scientists and the communities invested in protecting our ocean.
